A day before she was 3, my sweet Adelaide was still just 2. She sat in her dance class, and begged for snuggles after her nap. But something was different.
As she told me how proud I would be of her following all the steps. How she just needed to feel me hug her. Her little voice whispered in my ear, begging me to hold her back- to not let her sleep, for when she awoke, she would no longer be my 2 year old… Somewhere between my 5th trip to the open bar at our wedding and April 17th of this year… we ended up with a 3 year old.
A. Three. Year. Old.
My sweet baby is growing up so fast!!!!!! I just want to wish her a happy birthday, love: Mom, Dad, Millie, Carter Jay and everyone who reads along because she was born!
We also want to give the happiest of first birthday wishes to a sweet warrior named Jude. Please… learn more about him HERE, and know that his sweet life is a miracle. Making it to his first birthday is incredible and Addie loves sharing her day with him! I can remember the first time I spoke with Hannah, his beautiful mama, and she felt like home to me- the little sister I never had. I love her and her family to bits and hope for many more birthdays to share.
