Hi. I have read your blog from time to time – mostly when I start to feel nervous, lol. My daughter has not been diagnosed with anything yet – and I think the only reason is because she is hitting her milestones for the most part. She is 16 months old and VERY SMALL. Her head has always been big – over 75th percentile her whole life, and her height around 6 months fell from 10th-15th to 1st… At 16 months she is 28 inches tall, about 19 pounds, and 18 1/2 inches head circumference. She is walking, a little wobbly… Talking/babbling. She really wants to climb stairs, but her little legs are too short. I have to help her step up – not because of coordination, but because of short legs. Am I just to trust her doctors that if they think she needs to be tested, she will be? Or should I ask? Maybe she will just be on the small side…
