Dear Adelaide,
It’s been a while since I’ve written. We are coming up on the end of the year, and what a year it has been.
You became a big sister almost 15 months ago, and watching you blossom as a leader has been one of the most rewarding things ever. You potty trained yourself. You started school. You fell in love with all the right (Philadelphia) sports teams. You serenade me and your sister all afternoon. You help me cook dinner each night. You dance your heart out. You sing Adele with me, as we both tear up. You love Christmas with a passion.
You set my life into motion 1,331 days ago. You and your sister have made me whole. Thank you.
I don’t want to forget…

Pretending to be every character in the movies you watch.
