This year A is For Adelaide really grew! I am excited to have some insight into what you want to read, and hope to continue to grow in 2016! So… what did you like the most? Here are my top 10 posts of 2015!
10. 5 Gifts You Can Print From Home
A post where I highlighted my awesome new printer… and some great gift ideas you can make right from home! We are big DIY-ers (and I know so many of you are, too)- so making these gifts and being able to print our favorite photos right from home is perfect!
9. Side-Lying Breastfeeding + lactation recipe
I LOVE this post because it is so personal to me. Check out how to make your own lactation bars to help with your breast milk supply, and how easy it is to breastfeed on your side with the right pillow!
8. Perhaps No One is Wrong to be Right
I initially wrote this post in 2013. It means a lot to me because it reminds me of why I advocate every single day, and that handling hatred head-on with a clear mind and open heart may not always change the minds of the masses, but it will certainly not lower you to an indecent level of humanity. There is a lot of ugly in the world. And a lot of beauty, too. Always fight to see the beautiful.
7. An Open Letter to Special Needs Parents
This post actually won me a Type-A Parent blogging award. I wrote it on the heels of a friend reaching out to me- telling me how her own family was pushing her away and alienating her based on her son’s diagnosis. Some days are hard… sometimes those days stretch on for weeks and months and the time we are consumed in our children is unrelenting. I live it, too. I know you. And I want all those parents and caregivers out there to know: you’ve got this, I promise.
6. Growth Charts
I am SO glad we have a high-number of visits on this page! If your child has achondroplasia, PLEASE print these charts for yourself! Having your kids plotted on the correct chart is crucial, and will help your pediatrician immensely!
5. Erica Shea, I miss you.
There isn’t much else to say. I miss her. I miss her cheerfulness. I miss her bright smile (which is why she is the photo on the phone). If you didn’t know Erica, you missed out… but she is all around us.
4. The First Post
If you’ve never read it, please do. It’s where we began… and here we are 3 years later, and this post is still one of the most visited. Please, keep sharing. Keep educating. Thank you!
3. GB Evoq 4-in-one
I can’t say enough awesome things about this travel system. It was a product review that we still use every day! It is perfect for infants and first-time parents, and ideal for when baby two comes along- with an included standing board and room to switch out the car seat for a full seat that can face in or out. I super love it… check out the video I made in the post!
2. I’m Not a Killer
I wrote this post with tears in my eyes, fearing the stigma I’ve felt for decades. Mental health seems to be blamed for many things, including people who are simply evil. Yes, evil exists without it being the fault of “crazy”. As someone who has struggled for over 20 years with depression, I assure you: I am not a killer.
1. No-Sew Pouch for all of the essentials!
This post got picked up by Social Fabric and they ran an ad for it! This is one of my biggest successes this year… and I could not be more thankful to YOU for helping me get here!!
So, did you miss any posts? What was your favorite post this year?

I do remember reading a couple of these but not all. Those that I read made a lot of sense. There are too any people in this world with bias that they have no idea why–I truly wish people would educate themselves before opening their mouths!
