Before you ask, yes. Each outfit above is designed for breastfeeding (and pumping) mamas! All are easily accessible for your babes, designed with you, baby and fashion in mind.
Thanks to Nourish Nursing, Milk & Baby, BOOB, and Milk Nursingwear, I can bring you the coverage you need for whatever you’ve got planned. Follow me… learn more:
Let me start out with an outfit that makes me feel totally bad-you-know-what!
My tank, from Nourish Nursing is soft, stretchy, and fitted- the perfect v-neck nursing tank featuring a trendy neon print. The nursing clasps are easily opened and closed with one hand (perfect for those of us who currently have a broken hand) providing quick and easy nursing access, even when babywearing!
This style of nursing access is also extremely convenient for pumping.
With its fun print, great fit, and versatile styling options, you can continue to wear this tank even after your child has weaned… which is awesome, because paired with a faux leather jacket, cropped jeans and some wedges, this outfit was made for let-me-nurse-you-one-more-time-before-date-night! It is super cute under a sweater, but stands alone beautifully, with great support and a fabric that leaves you feeling confident and covered!
The Striped Colorblock Maxi dress (also from Nourish) is amazing! It’s beautiful for any Spring or Summer day, but can really glam you up for evening events, too!
The front of the maxi dress features diagonal black and ivory stripes and watermelon pink colorblocking outlined in light turquoise piping. Seriously, no detail is spared on the design of this dress!
The back of the dress features horizontal striping and a racerback detail. The dress has elastic gathering at the empire waist for a universally flattering fit- even on a taller-framed woman, and the cowl neck pulls down to reveal an inner panel with slits for easy and discreet nursing (or pumping access). Yes, all this is possible even while babywearing!
Are you done breastfeeding and pumping, or even being pregnant? This maxi is made to be worn long after those life events have passed, with no trace of its original function!
Are you looking for the PERFECT top for work and play? Milk Nursingwear has you covered!
My very first Milk top was purchased at the Women & Infants’ gift shop in Providence after Millie was born… my mom bought it before she even came up to my room! I fell in love with the look and fabric, and the Scoop Neck Layered Color-block top again, proved their design and quality is outstanding.
My favorite feature is the material… and design. The fact that the shirt is a double layer means that I don’t need to pair my own tank with it! Just lift the top layer and go… or breastfeed (or pump)! The simplicity paired with the sophisticated design makes this my go-to shirt, whether I have a meeting or am gearing up to spend the weekend chasing the girls around the yard!
The colors are all bright and perfect for the Spring and Summer, and best of all- my 5’8 frame is totally covered. …when my friend asked if I would pass it onto her someday, I had to admit, probably not. Really? This shirt is too good to stop wearing just because I [someday] wean my babe!

My go-to dress for work and play? Milk & Baby! We even went to the White House together!
Milk & Baby’s Striped Nursing Tank Dress is so breastfeeding friendly, even my nursing mama friends have NO idea where the panel is!
The perfectly hidden, discreet fabric pulls up for easy access, while my dress stays perfectly over my legs (even at church!), and goes from day to night with just an accessory change.
It is lightweight, but has great coverage, and is fun and flirty- making it the perfect dress! It is long enough to allow for chasing the kids, but still shows great leg- which I love- and is even great as a beach pull over because it is so easy to care for. And where are my runner/yoga/crossfit/barre (you get it) mamas at?! There have been races passed up, miles un-run, class cards remain unpunched because I cannot fathom attempting to breastfeed a baby in the midst of it all. So, when I came across the Fast Food Sports Bra, I actually teared up.
Boob Design has the hook up for us active mamas- no joke. The support is rated as Extra Firm, but my 34 DD+ (with no milk) chest needed proof, so I put this bad boy on and did a few miles.
A. Few. Miles. In. One. Bra.
ONE.
If you see the bold, and you’re nodding your head, you know that post 3 miles, 34DD is about a 34F, there is milk and adrenaline and breastfeeding is imminent.
1. There is a crying baby.
2. OUCH! PLEASE! RELIEF!
My biggest conundrum has always been… how?
In the past, I’ve hidden below the seats in my car (when in a public place) because the idea of pulling up a sports bra over just one breast is a joke, or attempting to pull down one side and pull a whole breast out is also a [painful] joke… so I was left wearing a few bras at once- all of which had nursing clips- and just unclipping them to breastfeed after a workout. You know those clowns that keep pulling a scarf out from their pocket? Yeah. That, with bra straps.
So, finally, this bra. The real deal. And you need it. Not like kind of, either. Like really need it. It matches the support and coverage my non-nursing sports bras have, while giving me the option of nursing immediately post workout- making it ideal for me AND Millie!
Now, you know it all. What you MUST have for all of your breastfeeding AND fashion needs… which design can you not wait to try?!

I am so jealous of all the great outfits new moms have. I am sure I had to lift my whole shirt up when I nursed. The bra was the only “nursing” piece avaialbe.

Love the tops! They are modest and yet still very functional.

Such cute fashion and practical too!

Amen!

I am not sure that we even need to be “modest” but we do need clothes that are functional for nursing. But no one wants to be hanging out 🙂
Chelley @ A is for Adelaide says
Functional is the most important… With Millie, she prefers to not be covered or hindered at all.

There definitely are more choices now for nursing moms. I noticed that between my first son and my second I had 5 years later. Now 5 more years and it seems there is even more choices. 🙂
