As you may have seen on my other channels, I have been using Rodan + Fields for the past month.
My skin has always been an issue- from the pesky teenage years of oil and breakouts (and the vicious cycle of magnifying breakouts due to wearing a helmet in lots of sports) to pregnancy hormones, postnatal hormones, and then, again, typical hormonal breakouts. I have tried every item on the shelf and then some, sometimes with OK results, but it never lasted, or the results weren’t good enough to stick with the routine, or whatever my excuse is [insert here]… but now, at 31, is the time.
And not just time to care for my skin, but to care for myself- which is a whole-body experience. Sure, I run (sometimes) and bike (sometimes), and the kids and I get out everyday for some play, walks and hikes, but what about the face I live in? Well… it still has issues, which is why I turned to my friend and business woman, Ashley, to guide me.
After a LONG meeting, we decided my regimen needed to be simple (but, obviously, effective) and something that could be multi-functional. Our meet-up lead me to the Unblemish line, using 3 products, as well as the Redefine line, for my morning routine and to help my mom-eyes brighten, as well as my favorite product: Micro-Dermabrasion Paste.
Each product may be OK on its own, but together, they’re quite the powerhouse, and the multifunction I talked about? Step One of Unblemish- the sulfur wash- doubles as a mask, the Micro-Dermabrasion Paste can be used in place of face wash 1-3 times a week AND can be used all over the body wherever dry skin lurks. I have never tried this Micro-Dermabrasion paste before but looking at the results it gave you, I guess this is a good brand to try. I always make sure I pay attention to my skin to keep it looking clean, young and fresh all the time.
