After speaking to Nia Dara, founder of MOTHER, the mission spoke to me… to where we overlapped each other’s words. Repeated each other’s stories, just replacing times and names of children. I knew that MOTHER would be the answer to a lot of needs new mothers have. Whether new for the first time, or new for the fifth time- each experience craves to be treated as an individual piece of a woman’s life.

There’s too much to do when a new baby arrives, and our personal care needs, as mothers, are to often put on the back burner. As we move to care for the new baby, home and career, the self-care takes a back seat. This subscription box serves moms like long time friends, helping navigate this journey as we move forward to a new version of our former, fabulous selves.

Can’t I be everything I was and the things I have become? I love that this one subscription box gives me a few steps forward in regaining the parts of me that are ready to be integrated back into my outward life. MOTHER subscription boxes are not full of small samples, items for baby or products with ingredients that make me cringe. These new items are shipped bi-monthly, as to not overwhelm new mamas. Everything that goes into these beautifully designed mama care packages is hand picked. Full-size items that I can integrate into my everyday, items to help with organization, inward, emotional care, love for the spirit and mind.
