Thank you for having created this blog. I am the mom of a 1-month-old baby boy name Alexander. While pregnant it was noticed that his limbs were short. It was suggested that I did have more sonograms but when dwarfism was mentioned I refused — there are no little people in mine or my husband\’s family so it is not possible I thought. However, his short limbs are very obvious, especially his legs. My husband is still in denial but I started looking around and found your blog.
My question is… medical, does Addie have to have a special dr and regular appointments? I read that you take her to a geneticist. How often? Is this someone she will have to see now and for her entire life or just as she grows?
I think our pediatrician has never had a patient that is a little person…
