In the day’s last sunlight, she sleeps.
At rest, her chest, her limbs, her breath. They slow until the peace she is in slips from her body and fills the room.
Her being so unaware of all it doesn’t know yet. So assured it all it does.
The experience of her life could already fill a book.
Loving deeper and harder than most, she completes me on days where I am but an unfinished thought on the page of a novel I’ve yet to begin writing.
A daughter’s passion is nothing to be rivaled with- the joy of a child unsurpassed.
She’s powerful and strong-willed. Fierce and unruly.
She is gentle and kind. Empathetic and sincere.
