Hi,
Jane told me about your blog. I gave birth to my 3rd daughter on March 18th and she is my second with Skeletal Dysplasia. There was a 50/50 chance that she would have it but all of the ultrasounds showed that she was perfectly normal. Then she was born with a big head and short arms and legs. Since I had just gone thru it with my 2 year old, everyone was prepared for the possibility that she could be little too. She is doing so well but loosing weight fast, just like her sister did. My 2 year old weighs 18 pounds and is 24 inches tall. She may be little but she is full of spunk! She is crazy loud and all over the place. She does not let her littleness stop her from doing anything!
I guess I just wanted to email you and say you are not alone and I am so glad that Jane told me about you and Addie. She is so adorable!!!!!
I am now a single mom. My husband left me and our daughters shortly after I found out that I was pregnant. I\’m struggling to make ends meet and to take care of my 3 little blessings but I\’m happy and my girls are happy and healthy and that\’s what matters!
I will be following your journey with Addie. I know she doesn\’t have the same type of dwarfism that my girls have but feel free anyway to ask any questions or to pick my brain. I\’ve learned a lot throughout this journey and have a great team of therapists and doctors for my daughters.
