It’s Monday again… I am writing this on Friday because I KNOW we will be in traffic on our way back from watching my best friend marry the woman of his dreams on Monday… All. Day. Long.
Call it holiday traffic, and on Thursday, after hearing there will be 25 million more drivers on the road this weekend, I called Nick and asked him why he would do this to me. I also told him how much I love him. I do. Always have.
On this Monday, I ask you all to remember the good people in your lives- whether they’re down the street, 300 miles away, or no longer with us. This makes me think of you, Nicky. No distance could separate us… or my havering next to you.

Happy end of summer to all… I will remember this summer for all the firsts it brought for our family, all the time I spent outside, the time I took to find myself and take care of me, and all the amazing bonds we have formed all around us!
