It’s exactly as I said… cookies made from cookies.
I found THIS AMAZING RECIPE the other day, and was so excited, that I asked Dave to run out and buy me butter, salt and Oreos- the remainder of the ingredients were in the pantry. When he returned, he had two different types of Oreos and none of them were the originals. Who knew there were so many flavors of Oreos? I was pretty bitter he’d gone off the map leaving me no choice but to taste test and see what would work.
Mint: taste just like Girl Scout Thin Mints
Chocolate: ummm… divine.
So, I altered the original recipe and came up with these- perfect to share at our HOUSE SHOWINGS!
They are chewy and delicious, full of texture and bursting with flavor. The hint of vanilla combined with the mint of the Oreo. Speechless. Nothing in this cookie is good for you, except the emotions they release. Bliss. These cookies are bliss. Oh neat! Cookies made from cookies, I think its like taking granola and making granola bars. Personally I can’t get enough of oreos. I wonder what cookies I could make with oreo’s current smores flavor that’s out!
