As we come up on Camille’s first birthday, I am reminded that I never did a birthday post for Addie! Oh my! So… how did Miss Addie spend her 3rd birthday? With Peppa Pig, of course. We also invited Rock-a-Baby to celebrate with us… it was an amazing time! Check it out for yourself!
We chose our cake from BJs- the price and taste cannot be beat! Because they did not have a Peppa Pig cake, we asked for the Hello Kitty theme and added our own Peppa characters and a sparkly candle from Target to the top!
These invites came from Etsy, and we added the matching thank yous to make it easy on us. I LOVE the design, and they were super easy to upload to Vista to have printed!
Addie wore a Peppa Pig dress that we found on Amazon (THIS one is similar). She loved it, and still wears it for dress up!
For décor, we got a great party set, which we added to with some less expensive printed plates and simple latex balloons. For food, we served cheese sticks, fruit salad and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which Dave painstakingly used a dinosaur sandwich cutter on each one to turn into “Dinesaw” sandwiches- in support of George’s dinosaur obsession, clearly. Small water bottles were our drink of choice. As favors, we kept it simple with pink bags filled with Pirate’s Booty and mini magic wands! I decorated the mirror in the dining room in rainbow raindrops- because Peppa loves to jump in muddy puddles, which, of course, I also made:
Chocolate pudding topped with crushed graham crackers in small cups made the perfect dessert side for our cake (and less struggle than serving ice cream!). The kids loved the crunch and sweetness, and adding the wooden spoons with shorter handles meant we could pre-place them in the cups without tipping them over!
We added signs to the tables like Dinesaw Sandwiches, Muddy Puddles, Clean Hands (on a box of wipes) and even printed a QR code with a guest log in for our party attendees!
With a banner from iParty, I added a marquee for Rock-a-Baby to play under! It was such a cool touch- and a great memento from her day. Rock-a-Baby got all of the kids up and moving in the living room, giving us time to clean the dining room in between food and cake.
Addie loved her Peppa Pig birthday party, and we loved that pulling it all together brought so much happiness to our girl.
What do you think of our Peppa Pig celebration?
