I love taking this challenge a bit out of the box! Today is all about color and for me that means nails + lips! I’m kind of terrible with my wardrobe. Black, grey, white, brown… maybe navy or red. But on my nails, I’m all about expression!
I love corals- and paired with the basics, like black and brown, it really pops! You can bring your favorite color from summer, or something a bit deeper. I chose the same color I’ve been using all summer, Ciaté‘s Play Date- an appropriate gift from my brother’s GF. ♥ I keep my toes nice and bright… and the girls’ too. Giving pedis is [almost] as fun as getting one- and matching is kind of awesome!
For my nails, I keep it neutral with a hint. My mom got me Spoiled Pumping Gas, as a stocking stuffer for Christmas last year. The coverage is awesome and two quick coats last me for most of the week without chipping. The best part is that it goes with everything. I paint one nail as an accent (helllloooo color!) and I’m good to go in almost anything I own. The entire Spoiled by Wet n’ Wild line is super inexpensive at about $2 a bottle, so you can experiment with lots of different colors.
Finally, I’m trying to go out on a limb more, and adding a dollop of lip color to my mornings. I’m totally in love with Rimmel’s ApocaLIPtic that I got from SOFABUOTR NYC this summer as a goodie! I add a few dots to my lips, top with gloss, press and go.

I love pinks and purples. In the fall I tend to gravitate towards darker hues of these, such as burgundy.
