There’s a lot to be said for challenging yourself. I’ve been doing it physically since the new year began, but I wanted to delve deeper. I started Marvelous Monday to ensure an upbeat, sometimes informative, post to go up every week – but what about me? To delve deeper and make a commitment to myself, I started a 52 Week Challenge. Starting… NOW!
So, why am I starting this 52 week challenge?
I’ve seen a few bloggers post their challenges and seen that the outcome of them committing to themselves and their writing – a great respect for their work and a time to reflect. Quite simply, I want that. I want to center my thoughts in one piece each week that I am prepared for. I know that it is hard to say and do for myself, but I want to try.
So… I started to workout for my body and make that not just a 52 week challenge, but a lifetime commitment. I’ve always been fit and active, but to be running again feels like home. And to write, to reflect, to journal- that’s back to my roots.
I encourage you, Reader, to take this challenge with me. To write and reflect each week (share a photo, too! #52WeeksA4A) online, or in a written journal. Take the time for you.
