We’re coming to a close on the year… and stress levels are high. Because of this, I’ve been on a hunt for how to relax. Sure, I love my massages, but they are time consuming and almost as stressful to pay for, so I was excited to finally make the discovery of coloring!
I love crafting with the kids, but sometimes, when they are sleeping and (in the rarest of times) I have just a little work to do, I like to sit down and color for myself. Mixing colors, experimenting with pressures of my pencils. Making little art pieces for me to enjoy. Sure, I feel like a child… but isn’t that kind of a blessing?
One of my very best friends knew I needed more “me” time and gifted me with 2 new books and pencils, and I am loving taking that time for me. How are you destressing this holiday season? Share your secrets in the comments (or link up below)!

I love how these have become so popular! And isn’t there something magical about new pencils? Love it!

I saw adult coloring books at Michael’s. I want one and I think I might get one for my friend.

My toddler says, “color your own book, I color mine. Then we show each other.” LOL!

Such a great way to unwind and relax! I did a page myself this morning and it was nice to sit in the quiet and color!
