When I first got involved with Listen to Your Mother 4 years ago I never imagined what it would become.
I didn’t think that I would find a second family- complete with bickering sisters. I didn’t think I would hear stories that would change my life, make me question my own version of motherhood. And I didn’t think that I could do this– in fact, I still think I don’t really do this.
I work with an amazing team, comprised of myself and three other women. We each have a strength: fundraising, casting, coordination, social media, but we all take part in the whole production. Without one, we would be but 3 wheels, spinning. As individuals we certainly have our strengths, but I need this team. We really are amazing, and I feel a newfound confidence every time the next season rolls around.
I’m so proud of our cast again this year! If you haven’t seen our lineup for Providence you can check it out HERE! I hope to see you there! If you haven’t already, don’t forget to buy your tickets, and if you’re not local the video will go live this summer. I will of course share that! Check out your local city see if there’s a LTYM near you and next year give yourself the opportunity to give motherhood a mic. You don’t have to be a mom, you don’t have to love your mom, or know your mom; you just have to know someone who is a mom. Anybody. And tell us your experience. Give motherhood that mic it so deserves.

It is always great when you find a team you just click with. That’s the most important thing you need to get anything accomplished!
