Activist chef, and the brilliant mind [and taste buds] behind DC gem Beuchert’s Saloon, Andrew Markert is at it again. With Forks Up Walls Down just over a week away, on Sunday, September 17th, plans are well underway for a night of delicious food and drink all to benefit those who are in need most.
We can band together to help enact a change.
Yes, you.
CAIR Coalition
Reaching out to CAIR Coalition, Forks Up Walls Down will support this local DC NPO. They give assistance to many of those in need through legal aid- for children as young as 11 and adults seeking asylum in the United States. They also help families stay together and out of harm’s way. With your help, the donation potential is limitless, as well as the opportunity to bring more awareness to this fight.
