And the battle continues…
Often times we are left with the desire to make the world a better place while searching for the time to just get through our daily to-do list. This is why I always look for ways to mix my to-dos with my desire to do better.
This October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is offering AutoTex PINK windshield wipers with proceeds going to National Breast Cancer Foundation.
When I realized I could get my favorite oil change (read: NOT get out of the car with the kids) and give to NBCF, I made sure to stop in for my own wipers! Being able to choose from full Pink Wipers or Black Wipers with a small pink ribbon allowed me to say, I support without going full pink… much to Miss Millie’s dismay. BUT, they’re actually pretty cute, as far as windshield wipers and pimping out a 7 year old Outback goes! They’re all-weather wipers, perfect for the start of this dreary Fall weather, and are only available at select participating VIOC locations.

What an awesome campaign idea. I honestly don’t need a reason to pink-out anything, but I LOVE when I do it and it’s for a great cause! I think I will be going “pink” this October. Thanks for sharing 🙂
What a fun addition to a care and a great way to help support the quest to find a cure. I hope to see so many pink wipers on the roads this fall in our travels.

I love this. It’s always a great idea when I large company decided to run a promotion that includes benefiting a well known charity. I think cancer has touched everyone’s life in one way or another. This definitely makes me want to stop in for my next oil change.
I LOVE this idea!! Not only because it is a great campaign for a very important cause but because the wipes are so cool!!! I want pink wipers! I might need to stop in for an oil change.

I am all for supporting breast cancer awareness and treatments for it. Cancer sucks! Plus, the pink wipers would look so cute on my car. My son might just quit asking to borrow it so often.
