Tis the season for warm clothes, lots of layers and tons of to-the-core cold. It’s also the time of year I ask my family to dress up, multiple times, in clothes they may not be used to.
Personally, I love putting on heels and a dress. Nothing makes me feel more beautiful than some glitz and glam. My love? Sometimes the layering of collars and sweaters and shirts gets jumbled in the mix. And for my sweet ladies, while they love dresses like their mama, tights and undershirts can just be constricting.
But it doesn’t have to. Comfort is possible for the whole family- even in that fancy garb. Trust this family wardrobe consultant.
When he’s getting dressed, Dave’s go-to under his dress shirt is any tshirt in his drawer. What my sweet man forgets is that those shirts are made to be the top layer. They are thick and not fitted, nor meant to be tucked in with a dress shirt. Solution? A proper undershirt. But with so many on the market, which one is the right one?
Let me introduce our number one: Hanes Ultimate FreshIQ Men’s Undershirt. It’s not just for fit- the amazing stretch design moves with you, but also for the FreshIQ Advanced Odor Protection. NO JOKE! All those holiday parties, packed into the church pew wrestling children, long car rides to different family homes. Let’s just say the softness against his skin, the tagless design, and perfect fit means he feels a bit more comfortable when the days are too long, the kids too sugared up, and the sleep too few and far between.
The perfect fit panty is always a must! While, after 33 years, I’ve gotten my fave pairs party prepped, the girls can be a bit harder to shop for.
Under dresses and tights, their need to be comfortable is not something we can overlook! So I turn to Hanes girls’ tagless hipsters. I also love that they’re 97 cotton, and no pinch, no rolls and a mid-low cut, which is key! Anything too high up, and, like me, they spent the day trying to roll it down. Not conducive to comfort… or class.
Trust me, in my 6 inch heels, I’m not always great at finding the comfort in my night, but when it comes to my family, I’ve got them covered- literally!
Keeping the family happy keeps the mama happy. So dress ’em up, mamas. You’ve got Hanes to back you up!
