Happy Halloween!!!
Just a brief post to wish you a great evening of trick-or-treat happiness! …last night we carved our first family pumpkin. And… Addie said PUMPKIN!
How fitting it was an ‘M’ for Martinka!
We also had a trial run of our costume… it was perfect- and even had a tail to let down! Added will be Dave, dressed as Prince Eric and me- in all black, as Ursula! My Little Mermaid stuffed Max, from about 20 years ago- I remember the Christmas gift well, will also be in tow as we travel around 1 block of our neighborhood for Addie’s first trick-or-treat experience (last year we only did a parade). My littlest mermaid will certainly bring a smile to all those who see her… don’t you think?!

We will be going for a walk this afternoon dressed up, and then maybe greeting a few early birds at the door with treats. Alas, I have wind ensemble rehearsal tonight, so I’ll be missing out on the Halloween fun

So precious and I absolutely love that costume! Grace is 20 months this Halloween and the only part of Halloween she’s ok with is the pumpkin part! She hates spiders, scarecrows, and especially witches. Also not a fan of the dressing up of other people or getting into her own owl costume. We’re heading to a parade tonight in Greenwood so I’m nervous to see how she reacts to all the dressing up!
Oh no! At 18months, Addie just loves to bite pumpkins and laugh at masks.
