I just went to pick up the Christmas postcards I’d made on moo.com, a small company with headquarters in the UK and East Providence, RI. It was my place of employment for the entire duration of my biggest feat to date: my pregnancy with Addie. Aside from amazing work, moo is a place that treats its employees with more respect and love than I’ve ever seen before. Lunch on Fridays, employee celebrations, great healthcare, a commitment to making schedules work with family needs, and a “family feel”.
Whenever I order something from them (my business cards, thank yous, holiday cards, etc.), I always call my former coworker and ask to have my shipment pulled… it’s a great time to go have lunch together and see old friends. Addie loves the attention and I miss being in the workforce, so it’s a really nice respite for me.
I worked a lot of hours (I really loved it there, so it didn’t feel like a lot), and thus a ton of my belly pics were taken there. I decided, upon my visit, to take an “after” shot, too. I wish I’d done this when Addie was first born- I still feel a part of the moo family and feel so fortunate to have worked for a company that has had such a profound impact on my life and friendships.
If you’re looking for your holiday cards, check out all the options moo has for you… or create your own thing (yes, they have an amazing customer service team to help you!) and leave your mark wherever you go with whatever you send.
