Capital One 360 has been a part of my life for 11 years. No, really… check it out:
When I got the opportunity to scream from my own mountain top (known as this blog) about them, I jumped, practically begged to be a part of the news! I love being a part of such a great way to save, from building up monthly goals to direct transfers (easy to do right from their app), I’ve been a loyal saver for 11 years. Because I’ve changed dating partners more than savings, I hope you believe me when I tell you Capital One 360 can change your life… especially with the generous offers they have on sale for Black Friday!
For me, the goal is to have a nest egg. Not a rainy day fund, but a safety net for the bills that roll in for unexpected things- the roof, a medical expense (we have quite a few), new tires… you get the point. Dave and I really got off our game when we became parents, cashing in my 401k, overly extending credit and losing our savings. We love our babies, and wouldn’t change a thing, but moving forward we want to get back in the swing of things. There are so many things we want to do, from Disney to New Zealand, but we need to be prepared for what happens at home.
For that, we have a Capital One 360 account. If you know our story, you know that saving is not always easy for us, but, as you can see above, there is always a bit to add- just something for the Emergency Fund we really should have! Did you know that your emergency fund is supposed to cover 3 months of living without any income?! Obviously we have a ways to go, but adding what I can when I can is made so easy with Capital One 360! I can just use my app whenever there’s a spare dollar and move it to my savings- there’s no minimum to transfer! For me, this season, it was an issue of not just remembering everyone on my shopping list, but not to losing sight of my own financial goals. All of Capital One 360’s Black Friday Sale deals are designed to encourage consumers to keep their finances on the top of their mind. Seriously… even if you’re already a customer! In addition to taking advantage of deals on banking, brokerage and mortgage products yourself, you can give your friends and family the gift of financial peace of mind by encouraging them to take advantage of the deals and referring them to the sale. If they sign up, you may be eligible for a $40 referral bonus! And as a new customer? Don’t even get me started… from savings to closings, Capital One 360 is the place to be this Friday! With offers like $1,200 off home closings and $100 bonuses on different accounts (including checking!), your financial peace is just a click away!
So, how can you start an emergency fund? Check out how we’ve been saving money and you can do it too!
This holiday season, remember you! Stay on track with your financial goals with Capital One 360’s Black Friday Sale!!!! And share!!! What’s your goal this year? Ours is to have an emergency fund AND buy a new home! …all possible with Capital One 360!

This is a great idea, it is so important to be prepared. There are many little emergencies that can happen, from a roof leak to a refrigerator that no longer works, and without an emergency fund it is tough to fund these expenses.

Ah saving can be so hard, especially when it feels like there is not enough as it is. Our goal was to pay off all our debt this year (except student loans) and we did it! Now we just have to stay that way!

Emergency funds are SO important. We’ve had one for a while, but sadly have reached the point where it keeps evaporating quicker than we can replenish it. Back to the drawing board for trimming expenses for me!

It’s so easy to go into debt during this crazy shopping season. We only pay cash, that way we stay on track. Or if we do charge we turn right around and pay it off. We only charge if we have the cash on hand.
