OH THE WEATHER!!!! I could not imagine what ideas I was going to come up with for The Weather, but it’s perfect timing! This time of year we’ve usually had decent weather for a few weeks, but not this year. We were hammered in the middle of winter, and it didn’t let up!
I love snow, but even I was sick of it! The weather changes were no good for anyone in this house, so when it felt like Spring last weekend, we took advantage of it, spending some time cleaning the yard (helloooo 4 months of dog!), raking the leaves and setting up the climber. Soon, we will paint the shed, so don’t mind that, but check out the enjoyment!
Weather can mean so much to us… as adults, it’s getting to work, getting in and out of the grocery store without getting wet, it’s being able to afford to run the a/c… but as a child, it’s the wonder of snow, jumping in muddy puddles (as Peppa Pig and my sweet Adelaide both love) and basking in the sun. Seeing Addie enjoy her beach (aka sandbox) and Millie feel the wind in her face as she took to the swing for the first time- well, that made the weather pretty great. This weather is sun glasses and sister giggles and tummy time outside!
Just a few months ago, I learned that jumping in muddy puddles is darn fun- thanks to Addie, and now I’m seeing that all weather is really pretty awesome in its own right.
I can’t wait to see what you’ve done with the weather this week! Don’t forget to link up your week 14 of the #52WeeksA4A blog challenge!

I really didn’t know what to do with it, so I turned it into a weather/fashion post :). Your pics are so fun! It’s nice to see your dog make an appearance, and Addie has the most joyful smile! I’d imagine it’s hard to stay in a bad mood around her!

I am so happy it’s finally starting to warm up around here. We are going away the week after next and I am hoping to be in a hoodie instead of my winter coat.

We love going out when the weather is nice, but with winters like the last one we had, we found some winter stuff to do. I love exploring again when spring time and see what new life is out there. The kids LOVE to explore it with me.

When the weather hit a high of 64 degrees, my family and I ran outside to play, walk around, and enjoy the park. Unfortunately, that lasted about a day, since then we have gotten more snow. At least today, we had our first thunderstorm of the season. Hopefully winter will end soon.

We have had such a long, miserable winter that just won’t end! Just got 2-3 inches of snow yesterday. But, the outlook is hopeful…it should be warming up to melt some of it soon! Fingers crossed!

We took the special plastic film off the windows that kept the cold air room coming in. Opened up the windows and went to play at the park. 🙂

I really miss my spring wardrobe I wore in New England! We went from beautiful south Florida winter in the high 60’s tight into summer. Yesterday it was about 80 degrees, super humid, and all the plants started wilting. I woke up to everything on the patio soaking wet from a random rainstorm overnight. Weather lol.
