HI,
I had posted on your blog about asking some questions. As I wrote before, my son was born March 15, 2012, right around the same time as your daughter:) He was 6 lbs 8 ounce at birth and 18\”. He has been consistently falling off of the growth chart for height, weight and head size since about 6 months. We have been to a nephrologist who said his kidneys are fine, a endocrinologist who check growth hormones, tsh and other blood, which also was fine. We also saw a G.I. for 12 months for reflux which has also resolved a while ago. I am curious and to what your daughter looked like on the charts. What she a steady low or all over? My son has been all over, getting further from the chart. Now at 19, almost 20 months, he is just under 29\” and 19lbs. We are now seeing a Geneticist at Children\’s Hospital Los Angeles. Today we did xrays of the long bones, tomorrow is an ultrasound of his belly to look at his liver, spleen and kidneys. Soon will be a bunch of blood, including a genetic microarray. They are also looking at glycogen storage problems and maybe other metabolic as well as skeletal problems. They said he has dimply elbows, chubby cheeks, poofy tops of his feet, something with his nose and a high forehead. What symptoms does your daughter have and what led them to this diagnosis with her? She is so cute! Would love your feedback!
