When Addie was just under a year, she celebrated her first Valentine’s Day with a beautiful, simple craft for Dave. With Valentine’s Day coming up in just a week and a half, I figured it would be fun to repeat the project with Millie! For this simple valentine, you will need:
♥ 2 colors of construction paper (we chose red and pink)
♥ glue
♥ white acrylic paint
♥ scissors
♥ paint brush
♥ markers
Start out by cutting out 2 hearts- one smaller than the other.
Paint the bottom of your child’s foot (just one), and press onto one side of the heart. Wipe his/her foot off with a baby wipe or warm wash cloth and repeat on the opposite side.
Let the paint dry, then glue the smaller heart (with the footprints) onto the larger heart and write a message!
Don’t forget to date your valentine with the year! These moments go by so fast, I feel so thankful I get to make a memorable craft with my girls! What Valentine’s Day crafts are you up to?

I think baby feet are one of the sweetest things ever and this is a great way to capture them! Makes me tempted to do it with my older child although I don’t think he’d appreciate the sentiment!
