I am writing this post in exchange for a discounted conference ticket; however, all opinions and excitement are mine and mine alone. I am thrilled to be going away on my first blogger conference with SoFabU and #cbias! …even if it is just a day trip to New York! I first started A is For Adelaide from a hospital room, watching over a sleeping cherub. It was June 2012. Almost exactly 3 years later, June 20th, I will be in NYC with a fabulous, intimate group I cannot wait to learn from and laugh with!
I have been a part of Collective Bias for almost 3 years, and I love that they offer me so much to build my brand upon, while helping promote products and brands I, myself, use and love. Since beginning my blog I’ve pushed myself to push my comfort zone more, expand my writing style, and I’ve met some of the most amazing writers and creators! I actually want to thank my lovely Rhody Bloggers, especially Sarah of Sweet ‘lil You, for the encouragement to keep creating!
#SoFabUOTR is a unique event that allows influencers like me (and many other bloggers) to take advantage of educational opportunities that will educate me on how to better my site for my readers! The conference is hands-on and interactive, so I can implement what I am learning on the spot. I’m most looking forward to keynote: How to Use SEO to Supercharge Your Posts, by Jessica Woodbury!
Paired with a fun city-specific adventure, I am so excited to spend the day with so many influential bloggers and social media experts thanks to sponsors Müller, Kraft and iBlog! I am still on the fence about this. I want to go, but I have some major expenses coming up in June and I don’t know if it;s in the cards to add on yet another expense to what I already have coming up.
