To refresh your memory of this room, I bring you our past office: HERE!
It’s been a long road this summer, and while everything was going on, Camille’s room weighed heavily on my mind. While I believe that kids don’t need their own rooms immediately, having a safe place to put your infant down is important! For me, that means a high up place (away from dog and toddler)- while I love our pack n’ play and rock n’ play, they are both low- making it easy for Addie to access… because of this, Dave and I concluded we needed the crib.
Setting up the crib without needing to break it down again meant we needed flooring. To install flooring, we needed to paint the walls first. To paint the walls, we needed a weekend of time. If you know Addie’s room, you know that we chose a theme (bedding) that wasn’t too baby so it could grow with her, and it has! For Millie, we chose the same. A nice bedding and matching accessories that (we can hope) will last through the toddler years and into a new room that will last her. All super things to be thinking about in the thick of pregnancy, surgery and the summer heat!
Oh yeah. And time?
Time.
As the sands fell through the hour glass (so did the days of our lives…), Dave and I got to decision making. With Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon and some serious web browsing- it (somehow) came together.

We used a Click Clack couch we got 5 years ago with nice bedding and a thick mattress topper as a guest bed area, and a place where Millie and I can be if we need our own spot at night, beautiful accents from AG Creations, an area rug from the basement of the bestie, and some nick-knacks and book donations from big sister, Addie, have all pulled the room together! What we meant to start so we could set the crib up turned into a completed nursery.
Here it is… the final look at our Camille’s room! Baby girl nursery reveal:
So… what do you think?!

Awww! It looks like the big sister is very excited to look at the finish nursery room of her baby sister. It looks beautiful. It has been awhile since I had a nursery room. Please give your baby a hug and kiss for me. They grow up so fast. My baby is now 8 years old.

That turned out really nice! I need to redo our son’s room now that the weather is cooler and I could paint and leave the windows open.
