With Fall firmly upon us, I have been looking at how to update my skincare routine. As far as my own skin… this formula was not ideal for removing make up or taming breakouts, but it’s gentle formula is perfect for when my skin is calm, and for using in the shower to remove any shampoo or conditioner that remains on my face (did you know it’s good to give your face a quick wash before you get out of the shower?!). I recently tried Norwex after attending a Norwex facebook party. I had bought a 3 pack of the body cloths because of the notion that you could shave using just the cloths, no soap or shaving cream required. I was completely skeptical, but I decided to take a chance anyway. The hostess of the party also mentioned how her teenage son swears by these to help his teen acne (like you, I have had acne in adulthood and it’s been a complete struggle). So I recently have been washing my face at night using the body cloth and nothing else. So far, I have noticed a difference. My skin is less irritated, the acne is up on the surface and it is drying out – it’s been a similar effect as when I have been doing heavier exfoliation but without drying and irritating my skin. I have an extra cloth if you want to try it out!!! So far, I like what I see for my skin. I’m nowhere near ready to leave my house without makeup yet (it’s been less than a week) but I’m pleasantly surprised at the results so far.

With the exception of a pimple every couple of years, my skin is really clear. My stepson struggles with acne, though. Like, bad.

My adult daughter gets acne when she least wants to. She’s cut out junk food but still has flair ups. I wonder if this would work for her. I’ve never thought to wash my face after shampooing my hair but it makes sense and will start.

For me, with the little acne I get, I just make sure I don’t touch them – and I spray Witch Hazel on the areas several times a day. Reduces the redness, keeps the areas clean, and makes them go away QUICKLY!

I have always taken really good care of my skin, but I have struggled with different skin problems. I also went through bouts of acne in my 30’s but I can say my skin has been pretty clear in my 40’s.
Maybe 31 will be nicer to me!

I like using organic facial cleansers because sometimes my face just chooses to be extra sensitive. vitamin C really helps my face no matter what time of year it is.

Love it! My sister and I would probably need this. We love travelling even its hot, no more worries now because of this sunblock.

My daughter is now an adult. She has tried tons of products and nothing has worked that great or long term. She has now found that retinol cream works great on her skin!
I always worry it will be too drying, but I need something!

My cousin turned me on to BeautiControl’s skincare products and they really did the job for me! They have a ton of different products that are specifically for your skin type (dry/normal/oily) and you can just do the regular 3 step treatment or add on other things to fit your needs.
I’ll look into that!
