Miss Addie has been spotted all over town sporting her pink frilly romper from Mia Claire Boutique, most recently at her friend Belle’s 3rd birthday party at the wonderful Bellani Maternity!  So without further ado… commence the oohs and ahhs!

This romper has been great for dress up parties, but also for church on Sunday when it is just too darn hot for a dress. It cleans so easily in some warm water with soap, and line dries in less than an hour! The inside is soft and the elastic is stretchy, but secure- perfect to stay on, but not irritate Addie’s skin! The store, Mia Claire Boutique, is run by a friend of mine in the LPA community… and she’s kind of amazing.
As a newly single mom of three girls, 2 of whom have dwafism, Claire is pursuing her drewm of owning a children’s boutique! Her southern roots are sewn into the motto “The Bigger the Bow, The Better the Momma!”… which is perfect for one of my favorite products: the monogrammed hair bow.
Sewing, crafting and the final piece are just a part of the healing process, as she pulls Life together for herself and her girls. In her own words,
My head is constantly spinning with new ideas. I have to stop myself or I would go broke just buying the supplies to make new things… make ALL of the things there are to make!

This momma has shown true strength, reopneing Mia Claire after a failed attempt in 2008, resulting from a lack of spousal support. When her husband walked out in 2012, Claire started up again and never looked back.

When my husband walked out on us and everything was falling apart, I searched and searched for something just for me to make me happy during the sad and I found this. I opened it once again and never looked back. I am now not only doing this for fun but to try and support myself my children.
