#52WeeksA4A brings me to travel! There are SO many places I want to go, and so many places I wish I’d been before. I wish I could give my children the US before 9/11. I wish I had been to Paris before the attacks. I wish the world was a different place… I wish we were leaving this world better than when we entered it, but I fear that may not be the case. The one thing I am sure of is that we have time… so make plans. Plan to make things better. Plan to see the beautiful. Plan to make beautiful what once was. Bring peace, love and prosperity back. Shine your light. I am hoping to pass on my love of travel onto the girls… and someday take wild adventures of our own.
The one place I’ve dreamt of going to with Dave is New Zealand. It is the adventure capital of the world… and I could use some adventure! Ideally… I would cruise NZ- mostly because the ships usually leave from Australia and I want to go there too! New Zealand offers SO MUCH, from volcanoes, glaciers, geothermal activity, luscious bush, awe-inspiring mountains, endless stretches of beaches, and abundant wildlife- there is truly something for everyone. And best of all, “Kiwis“, as New Zealand natives are called, are some of the most welcoming and accepting people!
My favorite thought about New Zealand travel is the opposite climate:
If I had to choose ONE spot to visit, it would be Napier. At Hawke’s Bay there are over 80 miles of dedicated off road cycle pathways that take you through stunning scenery including orchards, coastline, vineyards as well as visiting wineries, and local cafés. A region renowned for its award-winning red wines, its fresh local produce and artisan food producers, I think this would be an amazing port to cruise to, and totally matching mine and Dave’s interests.
I dream of adventures, travel and experiences… someday. Right?

I really dream of visiting Iceland. I am awed at the natural beauty of this country! For now, I am content looking at pictures of lush, green, Iceland. I am hoping that soon, I’d have a chance to be there and experience it first hand!

New Zealand offers many things to do with kids to make them happy, some of the places in are Action Indoor Sports, Blast a Cars Drift Karts, Hobbiton Movie Set Tours, Waterworld etc. They are safe, friendly, clean and a great place for family holidays.
