Let’s not jest. 2017 was challenging- which may be an understatement. While I’m not quite new year, new me… I am all about rising to the challenges.
I felt
pummeled.
assaulted.
betrayed.
tired.
in 2017.
In 2018
How I feel is my choice.
This year is the year of
Challenge
Challenge others to rise up, challenge myself to uphold my goals, challenge my husband to be better with time management, my kids to maintain their composure in Stop & Shop, YOU to do you.
Because all we can do is rise to the challenges that life throws at us. Not to cower, complain, or fall, unless we plan to come out from hiding the next day, have a solution, and rise up.
Boom.
Here we go, 2018! I challenge you!
What’s your word for the year?

I loved reading how you’re shifting your perspective this year! I feel like everyone is so hopeful about 2018 and it just radiates positivity. My word of the year is “adventure” and I’m adamant about sticking with it!

I think it’s a super cool idea to pick a word for the new year like this. It can be so motivational to live by that one word.
Janeane M. Davis says
I think the word of the year idea is a good one and can help people stay on target. I don’t pick a word, I always select two songs. This year my songs are “Have a Talk with God” by Stevie Wonder and “All of Me” by John Legend.
